Time for a visit

We are so excited to let you know that we have booked our flights to SA and we’ll be visiting for the month on July.

We are looking forward to seeing you all, catching up and sharing what God has been doing here in Belfast, the UK and Europe.

One of the things that we haven’t given an update on yet is the mission trip that Danica was on in Poland. To say that it was overwhelming is an understatement! With a sea of people coming over the border, filling train platforms and temporary shelters and rest stops, cars and buses driving people to and fro, it’s hard to know where to start. But something that the team felt really strongly was to just “love the one in front of you”. From helping to carry someone’s luggage up the hill to the passport station, to holding a Babushka’s face in your hands while tears are streaming down their face, praying in Afrikaans that they would just experience the peace of God that transcends all understanding, it was a week that broke our hearts into a million pieces. But not broken to stay broken. Broken so that God can transform each and every one of our hearts to beat and feel more like His own.

There is definitely not enough space here to give adequate feedback about that experience, but we can’t wait to talk more in person soon.

There are a few things that still need to fall in place, but we are trusting God and we would like to ask if you would pray with is?

We are trusting for:

1. Danica is feeling a stirring from God to head back to Europe to be involved with the ongoing refugee crisis in the Ukraine. Please trust for clarity, timing and wisdom.

2. We have a big problem (if I can be so blunt) with our travel dates. In my excitement to find cheap tickets, I booked the tickets on the exact same day as Noah’s appointment in Dublin for an Emergency Travel Document without thinking. The embassy has already let me know that they are too full to give me an earlier appointment and the airlines are charging me £1800 to change my and Noah’s tickets to a week later. The price jump is because of difference in fair and it being the start of the Summer holidays.

Please could you intercede with me that we would either by some miracle get an earlier appointment and we can all go together, or that God would supernaturally provide the £1800 (+- R36000) for us to be able to travel a week later?

3. We are wanting to head up to JHB to see family and partners as well, so please trust with us for good local flights.

If you have any questions or would just like to get in touch, please contact me – brian@enbelfast.org

Can’t wait to see you all!!

Much love and blessings,
